Dr. W.D. Morrison

Born October 16, 1927.
Graduated from the Ontario Agricultural College in 1949.
Graduated with a Master of Science Degree from the University of Illinois in 1954.
Received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the University if Illinois in 1955.
Territory Manager, Masterfeeds Division of Toronto Elevators Limited, 1949 - 1952.
Appointed Director, Nutrition and Research, Agricultural Division, Maple Leaf Mills Limited in 1957.
Professor and Chairman, Department of Animal and Poultry Science, University of Guelph, 1971 - 1982.
Retired from the University of Guelph in 1992, receiving his emeritus in February of 1993.
Awarded the Golden Award of the Canadian Feed Industry Association in 1979.
Received the Award of Merit by the Canadian Society of Animal Science in 1979.
Honoured with the Centennial Award for Outstanding Service to the Agriculture and Food Industry from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food in 1988.
