Born October 24th, 1919 in Kerwood, Ontario
1942 Obtained B.S.A., Ontario Agricultural College (Horticulture).
1942-1945 Captain, Royal Canadian Army during World War II.
1950 Invested $3,000 in a 100-acre turkey farm near Strathroy, Ontario and thus the beginning of Cuddy Farms.
1958 Pioneered the year-round production of turkey hatching eggs.
1970's Acquired turkey hatcheries in USA and started shipments of eggs and poults to Europe.
2000 With operations spanning two continents, Cuddy Farms is the world's largest supplier of day-old poults and hatching eggs, commanding a major share of the global turkey market.  Cuddy Food Products is ranked as one of Canada's leading producers of further-processed turkey and chicken products. Cuddy Foods is the exclusive supplier of poultry products to McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Limited, a distinction held for 20 years.

Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree, University of Guelph for outstanding career achievements in the fields of international agriculture and food processing, 1994.
Named "Master Entrepreneur" in Ontario's first annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, 1994.
