Account Manager (Ruminant) - Nothern Alberta

We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual who has extensive ruminant knowledge and thrives on exceeding sales targets.

    Your daily activities will include:

    • Working with our existing dealer network as well as their beef and dairy clients
    • In addition, you will generate new sales leads and opportunities while achieving growth within the Northern Alberta region.

    Requirements:

    • Possess strong organizational, computer, technical and communication skills
    • Agricultural based degree or diploma or equivalent experience
    • Five years of agriculture experience with a focus on dairy.
    • A valid driver’s licence is required.

    Production Worker/Feed Truck Driver - Wingham, ON

    This unique position offers a dual role to work in production as well as the opportunity to drive our feed trucks. This is a full time position.

    Requirements:

    • Previous feed mill, or agricultural experience is an asset. 
    • A proven track record of reliability and safe work habits. 
    • Must be physically capable of lifting 25kg repeatedly. 
    • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. 
    • Able to work at elevated heights as required. 
    • Exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude. 
    • Steel toed boots are mandatory. 
    • Minimum DZ license and clean abstract. Preference will be given to candidates with an AZ license. 

    Reliable transportation is a must. Public transportation is not available. 
    Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with overtime available. The successful candidate must be able to work fluctuating hours. Continental shifts possible.

    Receiving and processing orders, invoicing, accurately preparing documentation and reports according to regulations and policies, prepare timesheets for payroll and provide follow up to our customer base.

    This is a temporary position but may lead into a full time position.

    Truck Driver for Daco Animal Nutrition - Stratford, ON

    Full time position

    Owned by Masterfeeds, Daco Animal Nutrition, with production facilities in Ontario and Quebec and its regional office located in Stratford, Ontario is currently seeking a truck driver.

    The successful candidate must have the ability to travel as required.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 1 year driving experience
    • A valid DZ license and clean abstract
    • Documentation experience, i.e. driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports
    • Plan travel schedules and routes, use atlases and other trip planning aids, receive and relay information
    • Forklift experience, certification preferred
    • Plant production work and lifting bags a requirement
    • An excellent attendance record

    • Internal training, HACCP protocols are a prerequisite

      Cashiers and Sales Associates - Cowtown, Regina

      Pet and Animal Health Department

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Control and accurately count cash floats and perform weekend deposits.​
      • Operate cash register, process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments.
      • Ensure high levels of customer service and support.
      • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities including pet, feed, animal health and equipment.
      • Work in partnership with the Management Team and other employees to maximize store sales.
      • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour and exceptional customer service attitude at all times.

      Requirements:

      The successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail environment. Preference will be given to persons with an agricultural background. Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent. Experience with securing and closing procedures including night key holder and alarm system activation. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

      Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
