Credit Manager
Lethbridge, AB
As the successful Credit Manager, you possess a relevant post secondary education combined with 5+ years of credit management experience in the agricultural and/or banking industry, and hold a professional Credit Management designation. You are dynamic and committed to adding value in an ever changing industry by keeping current on the changing industry economics and its’ effect on credit and collection policies. This is a role that requires a balance between limiting risk and exposure to loss.
Reporting to the Western Region Controller, the successful Credit Manager will work closely with our customer’s, plant managers and sales team. You will prepare and investigate customer applications to verify financial status; you will review and evaluate applicant credit history and, you will estimate potential for payment. When required, you will manage collection and recovery processes.
Additionally, the Credit Manager will be responsible for safeguarding the company's accounts receivable assets through effective credit granting and collection activities, as well as ensuring customer service, and consistently applying credit policies and procedures.
