What began as a single feed mill operation in downtown Toronto has grown into one of Canada’s largest and most trusted animal nutrition companies — built on service, grounded in science and committed to the success of every producer it serves.

For nearly a century, Masterfeeds has partnered with farmers and ranchers as the agriculture industry has evolved. From early advances in feed formulation to today’s precision nutrition backed by data and global insights, its focus has remained grounded in one simple goal: helping animals thrive so producers can raise healthy, productive livestock, care for their land and build family legacies for the next generation.

Masterfeeds delivers proven nutrition expertise to thousands of producers across Canada, and is deeply committed to Canadian farm families. The company focuses its sponsorship efforts on local and national programs that support youth in agriculture, including the Future AgMaster Program and partnerships with grassroots community events. Masterfeeds employs more than 600 dedicated staff and has an extensive dealer network throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Our employees and dealers are committed to supporting Canadian agri-business with a wide range of animal nutrition and supports, including bulk and bagged feeds, supplements, blocks and minerals, premixes, organic feeds, as well as ration balancing, profit planning and on-farm consultation production cycle support. Masterfeeds manufacturing and distribution also includes specialty products for professional and recreational horses, smaller-scale hobby farm animals, and dog and cat foods.

Stratford Agri-Analysis (SAA) is a nationally recognized provider of feedstuff analysis in Canada, with its lab connected to the Masterfeeds Stratford plant in Ontario. Established in 1980, SAA is an accredited lab offering accurate and timely analysis of feedstuffs, soil, plant tissues, manure, greenhouse water, nitrogen testing for corn and more. Farmers and animal nutritionists rely on SAA’s analysis and leading-edge technology as a vital tool for balancing livestock rations.

Masterfeeds is also a retailer of pet food and supplies, western wear, boots, animal health products and feed products through Cowtown stores in Western Canada. Cowtown is a Wrangler flagship store, with over 5,000 pairs of jeans in-stock, and carries Saskatchewan’s widest range of western saddles and tack. There are presently four Cowtown locations in Saskatchewan; Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, and Swift Current, and one franchise store in Brandon, Manitoba.
